Oppam - Creates weekend record

This Onam belongs to Oppam. Normally it takes two weeks to declare a winner of the season but the gigantic opening weekend of Oppam places it miles before its competitors. The film has shown spectacular growth on each day from the first day to fourth day. From 1.55 Cr to surpassing magic figure of 2 Cr on Sunday. The WOM is super among the family audience which changes the box office trend day by day. The collection pattern does not limit to particular area  or screen size but uniform all over the Kerala irrespective of single screen or Multiplexes. The love for the Mohanlal- Priyan is shown by the Malayalee one more time that too after a nearly a decade.

The film has shattered the existing weekend record by grossing 7.24 Cr in 4 days which is outstanding. It should be noted it has strong and vibrant other three films to fight it out at box office. But consolidation of the film by from strength to strength diminishes the chances of the competition by other films. Oppam proves one important factor, try to  extract some thing new from great actor of our  time... Mohanlal, then the success at the box office just a formality. The ordinary Malayalee loves the actor than his stardom. Bring it again.
