RANK # 1 - CELLULOID
Celluloid occupies the top spot this weekend with encouraging reports and response from public. The second weekend has seen considerable growth from the opening weekend. Such movies tend to perform well if given a long run, and Celluloid in all senses can give Prithviraj back to back successes, if that happens.

RANK # 2 - DAVID & GOLIATH
David and Goliath has opened to above average houses in about 40 theaters in Kerala. The opening has been affected to an extent due to theatre shortage, and tough competition from successful films. Second weekend shall decide the verdict for the movie, which carries mixed opinon.

RANK # 3 - ROMANS
Romans continue the brilliant run in its 6th week and the “Blockbuster” status is not too far away from its reach. Excellent start for Kunchako Boban and Biju Menon to an eventful 2013.

Verdict : Super Hit
RANK # 4 - DRACULA
Vinayan’s Dracula might have missed the bull’s eye by a good distance, but has managed to hold on to theaters despite a galore of new releases. But the time is running out for this 3D venture.
Gross : 1.09 Crores (17 Days)
Verdict : Below Average
RANK # 5 - KAMMATH & KAMMATH
Kammath & Kammath just manages to hang on to the Top Five this week, overtaking all the underperforming new releases. A successful multistarrer to kick start 2013 for Mammootty and Dileep.
Gross : 10.21 Crores (32 Days)
Verdict : Hit
