Spanish Masala Boxoffice Collection Update - Collects 4.56 Crores in 45 Days

Spanish Masala has grossed 4.56 Crores in 45 days of its theatrical release. Considering the kind of response, which Dileep earlier commercial potboilers managed to secure, and the track record of Lal Jose - Dileep combo in the past, Spanish Masala has performed much below its expectations. The film was made at a big budget of about 7 Crores, almost entirely shot in Europe.

Kairali TV bagged the satellite rights for 3 Crores, and the producer has fetched about 1.30 Crores from Overseas and Other States. The Distributor's share from Kerala is about 2.15 Crores. But it is still highly improbable that the movie would recover its cost of production.
