Ee Adutha Kaalathu Opens Well - Boxoffice Collection Update

Ee Adutha Kaalathu directed by Cocktail fame Arunkumar Aravind has opened well in 62 screens to about 50-60% capacity over the weekend. Early trade reports suggest that the movie has made a decent gross of about 65 Lacs in 3 days, which is magnificient for a film of such stature and hype.

The initial shows on Friday had a minimal attendance of around 25-30%, but the film picked up very well as the audience and the critics gave it an unanimous thumbs up. The film has earned a share of about 33 Lacs from Kerala till now. The film should be able to recover its low cost of production in 3 weeks of theatrical run, put together with Satellite and DVD rights which it may fetch.

The movie has Indrajith, Anoop Menon, Lena and Mythili playing the lead roles. Ee Adutha Kaalathu has played  932 shows till now.
