This movie is a festival at box office with extraordinary collection at the end of first weekend. It has record breaking opening weekend in Malabar and some areas of Kochi region while doing good business in Travancore. Released in around 200 screens on day one with around 850 shows but could not maintain the equivalent shows on second day thus reducing the count to around 650 shows due to the release of some other language films. The movie stayed solid on Saturday and Sunday in the region of 500 shows even after the release of Georgettens’ Pooram.

Megastar reaffirmed his supremacy in the box office after a long gap with a big bang opening. The movie has collected approx in 11.25 Cr in the first four day which is earth shattering in terms of collection. The weekdays also expected to add a minimum 6 to 7 Crore to its credit with greater occupancy in the evening shows. It has collected around 1.50 Cr from Rest of India market. A brilliant blockbuster for Mammootty after a long gap and to continue the winning spree in the April through his latest release Puthen Panamscheduled on 14^th April.
