Puli Murugan asks is there any record to break in Mollywood ?

Answer to the above question so far this blogger's knowledge is concerned is big NO. Instead it has created many FIRST in the Mollywood. Latest first it achieved in last weekend till 60 days is that first film to cross 30,000 shows in Kerala alone and to gross 4 Crore from Multiplexes of Ernakulam city . Both of these achievements are huge land mark in the Mollywood considering fact that Drishyam had 26K shows in its final run and Jacobinte Swargarajayam is the nearest film to collect as the biggest earner from multies at 2.9 Cr. It means no film has ever traveled a 30K shows and 4 Cr. It is also the first film to collect to cross 50 Cr and 75 Cr from Mollywood and gross 125 Cr World wide.

With Telugu version Manyam Puli doing wonders with around 3.4 Cr gross the chances of reaching 150 Cr world wide with all version is bright and near. In Kerala Puli Murugan has collected a whopping 77.40 Cr in 60 days .We should invent some new word to describe a gigantic hit like this ! Can we call it simply a 'Mohanlal hit '' ?
