1.Pavada

Prithviraj – Marthandan film consolidates its position with an average collection in week days. With no major release this week, this film will have first preference from the weekend audiences. As of now 12 Cr is sure shot on the cards since it has managed to cross 6 Cr in the first week and has grossed an impressive 6.40 Cr .  The first Hit  of 2016

2. Two Countries

The super journey of this Dileep starrer continues in its fast pace. The film has passed 10,000 shows and enjoys the good support of the family audience. Collected 25.80 Cr in 27 in days. Biggest Dileep film earner. A Drishyam moment for him. Heading towards another milestone 30 Cr and BB right now inching towards box office tag of all time block buster.

3. Charlie

The movie subjected to removals mainly due to release of Pavada as the chain of distribution is almost the same. Since the film in the profitable region the makers didn’t bothered about otherwise it would serious crime to the business of much talked about of recent time. Collects 18. 40 Cr in 28 days. Blockbuster

4. Rajini Murugan

The rise of a star in Shiva Karthikeyen . His transition to big star completed through the big success of this film in Tamilnadu. It has covered 25 Cr in a week from there. Kerala has shown bit of interest in this film as well. Collected around 1.10 Cr . Hold on to some of the release centers in Kerala in second week . Will be profitable for the distributor in the final run.

5. Monsoon Mangoes

The pre marketing videos were interesting but the final products kept the audience away due to the WOM of slow movie. Opened to low occupancy and WOM had catastrophic effect on subsequent days. Failed experiment at box office. Disaster and disappointment at box office but critics gives thumps up. Collects a poultry 95 lakhs .
