1 Pulimurugan

50 Cr gross in Kerala is unattainable task till the release of this movie now the industry enthusiastically discussing about 100 Crore because Puli murugan has crossed it in three weeks and there is no let up in the craze it created in the box office. 120 plus screens still in 5^th week and completed around 17,500 shows in Kerala in four weeks but how you can get a ticket in weekend is still a hard job!  It achieved one more record today by crossing 3 Cr from Kochi Multiplexes alone. So many centers have one cross gross to their credit. The gross in Kerala is approx 58 Crore and it has all the potentials to touch 75 Cr in its final run in Kerala. The Vyshak mass visual feast is profitable from Kerala run itself.The real gigantic performance at box office !

It should be unfair if we not mention the euphoria unleashed by Murugan in GCC. The proud malayalees thronged to record number of screens in UAE and other countries. With around 650 shows across the area for the opening days it is estimated to fetch around in the region of 15 to 18 Cr gross from Gulf in the final run which will be another record for Malayalam movie. The world wide collection is inching toward 100 Cr which we thought not possible on the day of release. The first ever Malayalam film to achieve this prestigious total collection.

2. Aanandam

The wonder kids have smartly conquered the youths of Kerala. The marketing by way of campus to campus journey by the crew and lead artists have produced immense returns in the box office by creating good impact in the big cities. Multiplexes are good to very good in occupancy but in small centers it has failed to create expected results but the total gross enters 5 Cr with one more fantastic weekend in the offing. Approx it collects around 5.35 Cr in two weeks. On the way to Super Hit.

3. Kashmora

Karthi is different make over in horror comedy. Malayalees preferred this film among the four Deepavali release. The film got large of number of screens in Kerala which vindicate the fact that Karthi slowely and steadily making inroads here. Due to the average WOM the film could not fare well during weekdays but weekend was good. Grossed approx 2.70 Cr

4. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Super Hit in Bollywood but enough ‘Dil’ in Mollywood box office. Collects just around 1 Crore which is below average for a film which had a controversy to its advantage. But still holds screens for the second week in some centers.

5. Oppam

Still in the chart due to its formidable resistance at box office even after 50 days. Collection is around 40.50 Cr and lower class centers may add little more to make it third highest grosser.
