Darvinte Parinamam - Three days collection

 Supreme star Prithviraj has just missed undoubtedly a grand record of successful 5 films in a row. The theory of hits is not going to materialize in the case of his new film Darvinte Parinamam if we go through box office trends for the weekend. DP had spectacular day one opening and it sunk miserably on the next day , Saturday.  The poor occupancy in the Saturday evening shows were blamed on Indo –Pak T20 match but Sunday also had equivalent turn out at the screens barring little exceptions. WOM is getting down to the earth now but still the occupancy level roam around 40 to 50 % range in some major centers thanks to star presence of Prithviraj. Though film has large number of theater, it has collected around 2.90 Cr approx in three days which is compared to the hype of the movie and screen count is far less than expected. The budget touted to be around 4 Cr . Business wise it may be safer venture at the final call but theater run will be tougher affair if things are here to stay like this. Above average opening
