Amen Boxoffice Update - 3.70 Crores in 10 Days

Amen had a good first week grossing 2.45 Crores from 55 theaters and held up well during the second weekend adding another 1.25 crores in 3 days. The returns are excellent considering the genre of the film, the release magnitude and the competition. If the film can sustain reasonably well during the weekdays, then Amen should be a profitable venture.

The cost of production is rumoured to be around 4.25 Crores including print and publicity, which is on a relatively higher side for such movies, which do not possess big stars to secure the initial, and depend on word of mouth to be successful. The final verdict of the movie depends on how much it can rake in before Sound Thoma releases on April 05.
