Trivandrum Lodge collections picked up well in its second weekend, after it had seen a slight dip during the weekdays, due to mixed word of mouth and lack of family support. The film is appreciated by the youth, , its target audience - for the bold theme, different approach and unique presentation, but is rejected outright by families. The first week gross is in the range of 2.10 Crores.
The movie saw 65 - 70% attendance in its second weekend, but is expected to drop further during the weekdays. It would be beneficial if the film gets shifted to smaller theaters from Week 3, which would help it secure a relatively long run at the boxoffice. Films like Beautiful made use of this strategy to make the best out of its word of mouth. But Trivandrum Lodge may struggle going forward, due to its much criticized content.
